Mysti + John : Winter Park Engagement Session

Nate met John when he was in college at UCF. The first time I met John, I’m pretty sure it was Nate and my first Halloween together (I was dressed as a Medieval maiden, Nate a tourist.) The first time I met Mysti was years ago when we photographed her sister’s wedding. It was a true Small World moment when Nate and I realized these two friends of friends from completely different chapters of our lives were getting married! :)

We took their photos around Kraft Azalea Gardens in Winter Park.

Aaaaaand now I want a Westie!!

Mysti asked us to work these cute balloons in for a couple shots at the end. :)

Sarah + Nick : Memphis Botanic Garden Engagement Session

I’ve known Sarah since the 2nd grade, and yes, I have every intention of posting our class photo when it comes time to blog her wedding!

Until then, let’s look at some pretty photos taken at the Memphis Botanic Garden, shall we? This first one is my favorite by far- Sarah, let’s get this baby on a 30×40″ canvas in your home, mmkay? ;)

Nick is just the sweetest and I’ve never seen Sarah smile so much. :)

Sarah’s engagement session dress from Free People was just the most perfect for her- So sweet and feminine!

I’m gonna be cool here and *not* talk about how this pose took a good 5 minutes to get perfect. ;)

Father / Daughter First Look

You may remember on the blog that this month’s First Look on the 1st was our bride Liz talking about a first look she did with her dad. A couple days before that blog was even posted, our bride Mary asked us to photograph her dad seeing her for the first time on her wedding day.

If this photo doesn’t encourage you to do a first look with your dad, too, I don’t know what will!

Happy Father’s Day to our dads of our brides and grooms, and a special happy Father’s Day to our grooms who have since become dads. :)

Benjamin + Clare + Jackson : Chattanooga, Tennessee Family Session

Remember this cute family?? These first two photos were taken a year apart to the day. :)

If you need a refresher, you can read about Erika and her handsome husband and charming kiddos’ first session with us at Downtown Disney here! One year later, were able to meet up with them in Chattanooga during one of our road trips home from Orlando.

Love love love watching families we love grow! :)

Claaaaaaare! I know I shouldn’t have a favorite, but I am middle sister myself, so… <3

We were taking a feeding break for Benjamin, and Erika was telling me this is completely her life now: Patrick and Jackson rough housing, she’s taking care of the baby, and Clare is off in her own little world. :)

Erika also mentioned that her mantle is full of photos from their last shoot with us, with one lonely picture of Benjamin. We’re mooooore than happy to fix that problem with a face like this to work with! ;) Just two more of this sweet girl, ok? :)

Claire, Patrick, Jackson, Clare, and Benjamin, thank you for letting us play again!! (And hold your babies!) We love you guys and can’t wait to do it again next year. :)
