Vanessa + Jorge : Wedding at The Birchwood in St. Petersburg, Florida Preview
Vanessa and Jorge were our last newlyweds of November. I can’t believe that we’re just a couple more weddings away from wrapping up 2014- Where did the year go?!
These guys were married at a park in St. Petersburg, Florida, with a reception following at The Birchwood. We’re so excited to share their preview photos today, and yes, they have a few more sneak peek photos than average… Because Link. Look at this face!!! Nate and I are smitten, and should we decide Huck needs a little brother or sister, I have a hunch our next family member will look a little something like this. :)

Why aren’t more dogs included on wedding days?!

A little first look love!

Oh yeah- this is Link’s bff, flower girl Catalina. :)

Link was a perfect gentleman through the ceremony!

Spiderman was hiding in the back of their wedding cake- So fun! :)

FAVORITE- First dance love. :)

Vanessa and Jorge, we hope you had a wonderful honeymoon and can’t wait to share the rest of your photos soon! :)

April + Christopher : Lake Buena Vista Florida Wedding
Elopements are my favorite.
April and Christopher planned a sunny ceremony at the Polynesian with just the two of them, but Orlando weather had other plans. Unfortunately that wasn’t the only snag in their wedding day- Imagine how April felt when her hair and make-up artist neglected to show up (or even answer their phone!!) on her wedding morning?! Luckily Disney was on hand with “plan B’s” for both of these problems- Linda from the Grand Floridian Salon played Fairy Godmother and got April wedding-ready, and Citricos at the Grand Floridian provided the perfect, intimate backdrop for their ceremony. And we all know that rain is good luck on a wedding day, right? Right. :)
Enjoy this sweet, all black-and-white elopement. :)

April and Christopher, from one elope-er to another, our most heartfelt congrats and best wishes! Thank you for letting us be a part of your day! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!
Our hearts are full and we are truly feeling the Thanksgiving spirit this year. Thank you all for giving Nathanial and I the chance to do what we love, and do it together. Every year I’m so humbled when the calendar fills up, and we hope, above all else, that you know we don’t take this life for granted. Thank you for keeping us around and letting us into your lives.
We hope you’re all spending Thanksgiving with people you love! This marks our 4th year spending it with the family we chose, and I’m looking forward to truly stepping away from the computer and sleeping. And reading. And relaxing. And playing! :) We love you all- Happy Thanksgiving from the Roots! :)
