Kacie + Preston : Port Orleans Riverside Engagement Session

Two years ago, Kacie was in a bad biking accident when her friend Preston nursed her back to health. He’d liked her for a long time, but it wasn’t until that moment that they mutually fell in love. Last December, Preston surprised Kacie with a trip to Disney and proposed after a romantic dinner in the France pavilion, and then this summer, Nate met up with them at Port Orleans Riverside for some engagement photos! :)

This first one is my faaaaaaavorite! :)

Anna + Rob : Bella Collina Wedding Preview

Over the past few years, I’ve developed a “bucket list” of sorts for wedding venues I dream of photographing. One of my dreams was to shoot at the gorgeous Bella Collina in Montverde, and last Friday, that dream came true! We were so honored Anna and Rob asked us to document their day, and guys, I hope you love your preview as much as we do! :)

Lindsey + Eric + Liam + Madeline

You should remember these faces by now if you’ve been following our blog for a while, as I’m pretty sure they’ve taken the top spot for the most-photographed Root family! :)

I mean, surely you remember Mr. Liam…

Here’s my favorite before and after- It’s been so fun watching him grow! :)

These guys came to town for their annual trip to Disney, and we had the pleasure of joining them for a character breakfast and some play time in the park. And with faces like these, you know we brought the cameras!

Liam’s little sister, Madeline, is just as gorgeous as her momma.

Sammy + Shannon : Preview

As much as we love photographing weddings and families, sometimes it’s really, really fun to shoot something that isn’t in our normal wheelhouse. When our pals Sammy and Shannon asked if we could take some photos of them for a couple upcoming projects, we jumped at the chance.

I do wish every session involved a personal concert with two incredible vocalists! It was impossible not to smile behind the camera shooting two of my favorites doing what they do best. And seriously- how cute are they?!
