Michelle + Justin : Old Town Manor Wedding and Hyatt Key West Resort Reception in Key West, Florida

An oldie but a goodie, and I’m posting today because I can’t think of a better wedding to kick off our July blog posts! Michelle and Justin were married in the Florida Keys, and their family and friends started the wedding festivities in the historic Old Town Manor. I mean, this bed and breakfast had me the second this little guy greeted us upon arrival! :)

I couldn’t believe it took me nearly a decade of being a Florida resident to make it to the Keys. My favorite thing about the island? Wild roosters! :)

Adelie + Will : Tarpon Lodge Wedding in Pineland, Florida

This was our second-ever wedding at the Tarpon Lodge in Pineland, Florida. Located near Jimmy Buffet’s inspiration for “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” if palm trees and calming waters are your thing, this place really is paradise.

The forecast leading up to this wedding was not looking good. Like, we’re talking rain chances in the 90+ percentile. Adelie told me she asked her venue coordinator what the rain backup location was, and the coordinator just replied, “It’s not gonna rain.” When Adelie asked again, she got the same answer and decided not to push it. Sure enough, even though all of our weather sources were reporting 100% chances of rain for ceremony time, it didn’t rain.

The second they were pronounced man and wife, the sky turned a deep gray and we booked it with the couple to get some photos before the sky opened up. Adelie was an absolute dream bride, and even though thunder got increasingly loud, she stayed out for photos until it started pouring. We had an umbrella on hand and she got a little wet, but the photos we got were some of my favorite of the year! :)

Adelie and Will, you were both an absolute dream. Thanks for having us, and we wish you both the absolute best!!

Lauren + Landon : Disney Yacht and Beach Club Family Session

This adorable family came down for a Disney trip from Missouri. It’s rare to see siblings at Lauren and Landon’s ages that not only genuinely get along, but seem to genuinely adore each other. They were both so sweet with each other, and followed directions so perfectly. This session was Jennifer’s Mother’s Day gift from her family, but with such well-behaved kids, it was a gift for us, too! :)

This first one is my most favorite. <3

Seriously, y’all… There was not one arm pinch or eye roll to be found with these two!

If the tooth fairy goes bankrupt this year, I think I know who to blame! ;)

Second favorite… Nothing like ending your family session with an impromptu photo bomb! Jennifer, thank you for getting in touch with us and letting us hang out with your beautiful family! :)
