Henry : Preview

You guys.

I apologize if you’ve been waiting on preview photos or an email from me- I will get to you, promise! A week ago we were 3 weddings and 12 sessions behind- I’ve never had more in my editing queue! I’ve been struggling to catch up this week and I finally feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Anyway, please bear with us while we play catch up this week!

Jessica! I know you’ve been waiting to see some teaser photos and I apologize for taking so long! Thank you for letting us meet your sweet boy and we can’t wait to share more very very soon! :)

We photographed Henry’s first birthday session around Windermere. :)

… And then this happened! I can’t believe in the years we’ve been doing this, Henry’s cake smash was our first! :) More to come soon!

Matthew + Family : Boardwalk Inn Family Session

Matthew was referred to us by his roommate Michelle who we’ve never gotten the chance to meet. We’ve been Twitter friends for a couple years now, and I’m so honored she passed her friend our way when he was in the need of a family session! :)

We met Matthew, Nathan, and TJ at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn during our busiest week of the year. We were quite sick, but I think we made it through successfully!

To be completely honest, Nathan and I had never done a shoot like this and had no idea what to expect. Most of our sessions are with parents and their school-age children, but we’ve been doing this long enough we knew we’d be fine. Nate and I had no idea we’d be working with such a loving, photogenic family, which Matthew styled perfectly for Disney’s Boardwalk Inn… I felt like we were on a Walt Disney World promo shoot with professional models. I mean, look at these three!!

I think TJ, Matthew’s mom, could pass for Mary Steenburgen’s gorgeous younger sister!

Matthew, Nathan, and TJ, thank you for making this session so wonderful! We had so much fun and hope to do it again sometime. :)

Carrie + Patrick : Disney California Adventure Anniversary Session

Continued from Carrie and Patrick’s vow renewal preview post yesterday.

Before leaving on our Aulani adventure, Carrie and Patrick wanted us to take a few photos of them around Disney California Adventure’s Buena Vista Street for an anniversary session. We hadn’t actually gotten to see the new additions to DCA since our last visit, and well, I’m in love!

You didn’t actually think Carrie and Patrick would show up to a shoot looking anything less than this, did you? ;)
