Erin + Steve = Brennan + Dylan : Disney Port Orleans Riverside Family Session

The last time we met Erin and Steve was on their wedding day. You can click the photo below to read Steve’s memory of his and Erin’s wedding day “first look.” :)

Fast forward four years, and now their sweet family looks like this. :)

These guys have been trying to work out a family session with us since Brennan was born, but our Orlando trips never seemed to line up. Until this year! I love that we got to not only meet Brennan, but sweet Dylan, too. :)

Favorite. :)

We were pretty in love with Dylan’s rhino ensemble!

What happens when Brennan decides he’ll only take photos from here on out with his mouth wide open? We go with it! :)

Brennan loves holding his little brother, but my favorite part was when Dylan started crying… Brennan immediately looked at mom and dad and said, “Uh oh!”

Erin and Steve, thank you for finally making this happen! It was wonderful to catch up! :)

Amanda + Derek = Meredith + Brody : Vanderbilt Campus Family Session

While Nate and I technically live in Nashville, you can probably tell by our blog posts that we rarely get the chance to actually shoot in our hometown. Luckily for us, when Amanda Googled for Vanderbilt family sessions, she stumbled upon our little blog. I’m so thankful she did, and even though their session took place during 35 degree weather, we had such a fun time getting to know this sweet family!

This photo of Meredith and Brody melts my heart!

There was no better session location for these guys than their alma mater!

I love hearing when siblings are crazy for each other. :)

Brody wasn’t loving our cameras being on him, but it didn’t take too long to find out the secret to getting him to smile…

Brody loves to run! :)

Luckily for us, Nate happens to be an expert at running backwards and shooting!

Brody is also a big fan of “What Does the Fox Say.” So perfect that Amanda found that little fox sweater beanie at Gymboree, and a matching little purse and fox tights for Meredith. :)

Meredith was such a good sport despite being freezing the whole time, and this photo of her crashing on daddy’s shoulder? FAVORITE. Derek, Amanda, Meredith, and Brody, thank you for such a fun time and we hope to do it again!! :)

Peter Hallpants : Jacksonville Halloween Family Session

I had every intention of posting this on Halloween, but you know how it goes. :)

Our sweet nephew Hall is no stranger to our blog, so I had to share how he won Halloween this year. See the photo below? That’s his momma Jessie wearing a Peter Pan costume her mom made when she was about 3. Jessie’s mom made some alterations to make it a little more “boyish,” so that’s Hallpants rocking the costume on the right.

(And seriously- How adorable is our Jessie?! Even more adorable since she grew up to be “friends” with Wendy Darling in Tokyo Disneyland!)
