Carrie + Patrick : Disney California Adventure Anniversary Session

Continued from Carrie and Patrick’s vow renewal preview post yesterday.

Before leaving on our Aulani adventure, Carrie and Patrick wanted us to take a few photos of them around Disney California Adventure’s Buena Vista Street for an anniversary session. We hadn’t actually gotten to see the new additions to DCA since our last visit, and well, I’m in love!

Nikki + Matt : Disney Bounding Engagement Mini Session

Sometime last year I stumbled across a Tumblr page, Disney Bound, “Where fashion geeks and Disney nerds collide.” The page is really fun, and Leslie Kay frequently updates with style boards inspired by Disney characters. Well… Mostly Disney characters. I love that she branches far beyond the princesses and their fellas, often highlighting lesser-known characters like Bernard, Ichabod Crane, and yes, even Olivia Faversham from The Great Mouse Detective. <3

(Style board credit : Disney Bound!) You get the picture! So when Nikki and Matt told us they wanted to wear Disney-inspired outfits for their mini session, I was so happy they were “Disney Bounding!” Turns out, they’d never even heard of the website until I mentioned it!

I think Nikki shares a striking resemblance to Quinn from Glee, no? :)

Danielle + Daniel : Celebration Engagement Session

Dani and Dan saw each other across a New York University classroom six years ago, but neither had the guts to introduce themselves. The next year they were finally introduced and they’ve been together ever since! He’s a theater teacher, she’s a Disney Store cast member (holla!), and they’re both down right adorable. Like, Snow White and Prince Charming cute. We photographed their engagement session around downtown Celebration. When we were finished, I may or may not have spent 30 minutes outside of Dani’s car swapping opinions of our favorite Real Housewives series. :) Celebration Engagement Session
