Jessica + Ryan : Highland Manor Engagement Session in Apopka, Florida

There is no greater honor in this crazy wedding industry than when you’re asked to photograph the wedding of another wedding photographer! Whenever we get an inquiry from another photographer or wedding “friendor,” I almost always think they sent it by mistake. :) But Jessie and Ryan did pick us and I couldn’t be more excited for their Orlando wedding this fall. :)

Leave it to Jessica to find a gorgeous Florida location we’d never been to- Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida. These first two shots are hands down my favorite… That light! Cute couple! Adorable dog! <3

Emily + Matt : Winter Park Engagement Session

Emily is the sister of my sister’s best friend. I’m ecstatic for her and Matt’s wedding this November. :)

We photographed their session in Winter Park at Rollins College and Kraft Azalea Park, where we shot as fast as we possibly could to beat the rain!

Emily, you’re gorgeous. :)

And if the session couldn’t have gone better, Emily sent us home with chocolate covered Oreos! <3

Kim + Mike : Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Anniversary Session

Remember that time we photographed a wedding at the Brevard Zoo? (You can click here for a refresher!) That was the wedding of the lovely Kim and her Mike, and when she contacted us this year for an anniversary session around Walt Disney World’s Boardwalk Inn, I was so excited.

As I’ve mentioned on the blog recently, anniversary sessions are my new favorite. We’re in Florida so frequently for weddings that we’re able to schedule portrait sessions during our trips, and there’s just something wonderful about photographing and catching up with past couples that make me love this job even more. I love when couples not only hire us to document their happiest day, but also invite us into their lives for years to come. :)

I think this first one’s my favorite!
