Spring went to UCF with Nate. They lived in the same dorm, had mutual friends, and she even remembers Nate getting his first camera! It was such an honor that she reached out for us to photograph her Kansas City wedding!
We knew the venue was at a country club, and while I had a generic country club in mind for her venue, we pulled up to anything but. The Oakwood Country Club was simply magical- I could have photographed on those grounds all day! The ballroom was beautifully naturally lit with these giant oak beams, the beautiful paved pathway, mature trees- I loved it all!!
Spring chose the perfect touches, making the ballroom feel like an outdoor garden oasis, complete with greenery from the chandeliers and market lights overhead. Their band, Twice on Sunday, was one I would love to relocate to Florida, and just wait ’til you see the arbor her father made them!!
Spring and Anthony, it was an absolute dream- thank you for having us!! <3
Favorite view. <3
LOOK. AT. THIS. BALLROOM!
First look with Spring’s sweet father <3
Spring’s mother passed shortly after her wedding day. It was a bittersweet reminder about the importance of our work. It was abundantly clear that Spring was her whole world, and I hope our photos did their relationship justice. <3
See that gorgeous arbor? Spring’s father made it for them, and they’ll be able to use it in their backyard now. Just the most special day. <3
Just the most elegant indoor garden party!!
