I’ll never forget the first time I tried pitching a “first look” to a couple. The look our bride gave me was as if I’d suggested she cover her dress in spray paint before walking down the aisle. I couldn’t blame her, though- 10 years ago, few had heard of such a thing and our brides were convinced their marriages would be doomed if they even entertained the idea!
Today, more weddings than not include this special moment. I still enjoy our little “First Look on the 1st” posts every month, but I thought this month we’d revisit our very first feature that goes a little more in-depth for our new couples. So cute and so sweet and so young!!! I love your first look so much and I love, love, love that reading your blog introduced me to the concept. By far and away it was the #1 greatest memory for both of us of our wedding day, and I don’t know if we would have gotten the idea without your blog!
I’m so excited for ours and would never have thought of that, if it wasn’t for you and Carrie, since it’s still a big no-no over here (and very hard to explain to everyone why you would want to risk everything).
