When Nate and I first started dating, I mentioned my love of laundry fresh out of the dryer- All nice and toasty warm. A couple weeks later, he left me a voice mail telling me he was pulling laundry out of the dryer and it made him think of me, which in turn, made him happy. That was the very moment I fell in love with my husband. :)
Happy birthday, Nathanial. You’re my best friend, therapist, business partner, and soul mate and I can’t (and refuse to) imagine my life without you. I’m forever grateful to your sweet parents for bringing you into this world. Here’s to a new decade of adventures, awesome, and warm laundry from the dryer. Love you to infinity and beyond!

Happiest birfday wishes Nate! LOVE LOVE LOVE that top pic of you! You’ve always loved photos and silly faces and that pic proves it!

Happy Birthday Nate (and an early one to you too Jensey)! So does that mean that you save left over cake for you to celebrate days later, or do you get a brand new one?
Jensey says
Such a good question! We get a “normal” birthday cake for Nate, and he orders a Mardi Gras king cake for me from New Orleans! Still a sugar rush all week, but better than two birthday cakes in a week! :)
Oh that’s cool! I googled the Mardi Gras king cake and was surprised to find that it’s the same as something called “Rosca de Reyes” that I’ve tried around Three Kings Day in January. I’m glad you had a “sweet” week. :)
Happy Happy (day late) Birthday Nate!! I hope you had an amazing day!
Happy Birthday, Nathan! That top photo has always been one of my favorites, but I will keep to myself why you were making that face at the camera.
Love, Mom
Pretty sure he still makes the same face today! ;)
