Nate and I weren’t able to photograph Jes and Aaron’s Walt Disney World wedding due to Disney’s outside photography rules. Lucky for us, Jes remembered us and when they took their first anniversary visit to Walt Disney World, asked us to come do a session with them. Anniversary sessions are my new favorite. :)
The story of how Jes and Aaron met is one of my all time favorites- They actually met in the orientation line for their freshman year of college. They both stood there in embarrassment while their mothers chatted for what seemed like hours; Aaron’s mom told him he needed to find a nice girl like Jes with a good family like hers, and Jes’ mom told her the same about Aaron. A few months later their paths crossed again during a game of “hallway ball diving,” and they were smitten. Eight years and one adopted penguin later, here we are! :)
We photographed Jes and Aaron’s anniversary session around Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, which is where they got ready on their wedding day. This photo was taken outside of the room Jes stayed in on her wedding day. :)
Jes and Aaron, thank you for letting us capturing your still-newlywed loveliness!
More sessions around Walt Disney World resorts :
Hope says
Gotta love those matchmaking moms! I think it’s cool that they returned to where they got ready for anniversary pictures. :)
We love shooting sessions on Disney property, but I love them more when there’s a special meaning attached to it! As always, thanks for taking the time to comment, Hope! :)
You’re welcome. Thanks for giving me pretty things to comment on. :D
ACK! So i TOTALLY had no idea you posted this… and of course I was doing my weekly stalking of your site looking at all your loveliness and I saw myself!!!!!
Thank you guys for making these pictures BEAUTIFUL. Secret truth – I love these more than my wedding photos. You guys rock!
Well hopefully cross paths again :)
