Oh, Rebecca and Joe. <3
Since I love Christmas and I can finally see the light at the end of this dreadful summer heat, I thought I’d bring a little Christmas in July love to the blog. And there’s no better session to share than that of my dear Rebecca, who loves Christmas just as much as I do!
Nate and I first met Rebecca when she was the event coordinator for a rainy dessert party we were shooting once upon a time when we could photograph in the Disney parks (sad story). Rebecca recognized us and introduced herself as a blog stalker, and we’ve been friends ever since. What started as a Facebook friendship has since turned into a real friendship! Rebecca has such an addictive personality; her laugh is contagious and she’s always so genuinely interested in what’s going on in our lives. Her husband, Joe, is one of the funniest friends I have- His Twitter feed makes me laugh out loud. Seriously- click here to follow him! And while we don’t see them nearly as much as we’d like to, they are two of the kindest people I’ve ever known and I’m always leaving our visits wanting more time with them! :)
While we didn’t shoot Rebecca and Joe’s wedding (they were married after the dreaded no-outside photography rule was enforced), she did get us access to shoot their engagement session in Epcot before it opened one day, and clearance to shoot around the Magic Kingdom. As much as I hated not being their wedding photographer, I’m so happy we had some play time with them beforehand.
So, before you see these photos, a huge disclaimer: We can not photograph inside the four Walt Disney World parks! This just happened to be a magic moment brought to us by Rebecca and her cast member contacts. :) And honestly, I can’t think of a better couple to have ended our in-park shooting with. <3
Rebecca, you’re my favorite. Ever. That is all. :)
I think this was Joe’s monkey face? :)
Epcot, I miss you!
Loooooooooooooove them.
Favorite!!!!!
Had to put this one in, ’cause it’s Christmas in July and all!
So, it’s been almost 3 years since this shoot. Can we do it again, please?? :) Love you guys- See you SOON!

Well…..the only thing I might hold against this CUTE couple is that I think I see a North Carolina Tar Heel shirt on Joe. (Cuz I love another great NC school!) Of course, just kidding. The pics are great. They look like a fun couple!
