Brooke and Chris were one of our very first weddings. It’s hard to believe it’s been 5+ years and now they’re parents of twins! When Brooke first wrote us asking about scheduling a session with her two year olds, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was a bit, well… Scared to death! But when Nate reminded me how amazing Brooke and Chris are and assured me we’d be just fine, I started to come around to the idea. And then got really, really excited. :)
It’s always been my dream to have twins. In fact, on one of Nate and my first dates, I announced that if I ever had twins, I’d keep one and give away the other and have them find each other when they’re 12, Parent Trap style. Don’t worry; I was only a little serious. ;) The closer to maybe-parenthood I get, the scarier twins seem. I still think it’s a dream of mine, but after spending just a smidgen of time with Brooke and her sweet family, I can tell you she truly is Wonder Mom!
Enough talking- Meet Lucy and Eli. :)
They weren’t too sure of us at the start of the shoot!
Every time we do a family session, I get the urge to be swung like this! If there are any giants reading this blog, come swing me!
Chris adores these kids and can do some mad gymnastics with Eli. I think they need to open a father/son show! :)
Eli looooooves his trucks!
Super Mom!
Had to post these. :)
Brooke amazed me many times this shoot, but the biggest thing was her ability to hold both kids at once while reading a book and turning the pages. It’s a wonder when I walk and chew gum at the same time!
I love family photos like this. :)
Brooke had more surprises up her sleeve for the munchkins- Balloons!
What started off as fun…
… Got a little heated! I said this on their preview post, but this is sincerely my favorite photo I’ve ever taken! Brooke said it sums up her life right now perfectly. :)
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris, Brooke, Lucy, and Eli, thank you guys for playing with us!!!! We really, truly can’t wait to watch you grow up! :)

Jensey, thank you for all your sweet words. We are truly grateful for all of the beautiful images that you and Nate captured for us. I cannot thank you enough for documenting this fun-filled chaotic time period of our lives and you can be sure that I will be displaying the picture of them fighting over the balloons at their high school graduation party. Being the mom of 2 year old twins is the most rewarding challenge in the world. I definitely hope you get to experience it- you would be the true super mom. We love you guys & hope to do it all again next year (hopefully with a few less tears). BTW, I think it’s time to add a family portrait section to your website gallery.

I used to babysit toddler twins, and it is certainly an impressive feat to be a mother of them!
These pictures are absolutely amazing. I would probably need to get wallpaper made I would want to hang so many of them up around the house, lol.
