Part 2 to one of my top 3 favorite weddings of all time! Make sure you’re all caught up on Part 1 first! (When we left off, K and H were about to get married on Baker’s Beach with a perfect view of the Golden Gate Bridge!)
Every time I glance at this photo, my brain sees the flower girl move as the intro song to our website plays in my head. :) I love, love, love this photo- Instead of throwing out flower petals, their she tossed sea shells. :)
San Francisco wedding photographers have all the luck! :)
Another favorite- Everyone laughed when H pulled out his iPod Touch to read his vows. :)
So intimate and lovely- Just like K and H. :)
Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaavorite!!!!!!! One of my favorite photos I’ve ever, ever taken. They have this one on a 30×40″ canvas in their home. *Swoon!*
Another these-kids-are-amazing moment: Spontaneous bouquet toss on the beach! :)
Nate’s favorite shot from the night- That kid is amazing.
K and H’s magical reception was held at the fancy Farallon Restaurant in downtown San Francisco. :)
K and H never danced- Ever, ever. It was a total shock to all of their guests that they’d taken dance lessons and performed a flawless routine to “Beyond the Sea.”
The grand finale! :)
She knew he had been working on a top-secret wedding gift for months, but had no idea what to expect…
Are you ready to tear up?? He brought out a hand-built rocking chair for two. On the bottom was engraved, “Grow old next to me. The best is yet to be. SHMILY.” (See How Much I Love You!)
You can take the bride out of Disney, but you can’t take the Disney out of the bride! As she was about to lick her fingers after having a cupcake, K shouted, “Look! I’m Meeko!” and did the following:
K and H, words cannot express how much I love you both, and how being a part of your wedding made me want to be a better wife to my husband! We look forward to being friends for years to come, and can’t wait until we meet again. :)

Nate should have proofread this, because that clearly looks like an iPod Touch, not an iPhone :)
Actually, this comment is mainly to praise your post-processing color on your food photos. I can almost hear the crispness of the lettuce, the entree looks amazing, the cupcakes light, fluffy, and airy, and I want to mash my hand through the screen to grab one of those macaroons. Well done.

I tell ya- I think Nate only proofs these things 1/2 the time he says he does! Thanks for pointing that out. :) And thanks so much for your compliment on the food post-processing!

I was tearing up at the rocking chair, I wonder how much it will cost to ship a custom made one like that all the way from California to Florida? The Meeko eating moment made me laugh out of my chair!
They are such a unique and happy couple, and I loved how you could feel your happiness from shooting their wedding through the blog. You’re right, you are more than just photographers, and we are more than just your clients. That is why you are Root Photography and not Joe Smoe Wedding Pictures, Inc.

That wedding is phenomenal! I think the fog really made the shots with the bridge :)

I love these photos. Beautiful.
And I’m a total sap… I cried about the rocking chair.

What a beautiful wedding! Is this the trip I got to ride a cable car with you guys?!
I LOVE the photo they purchased on canvas! Were I to have such a one, I’d put it on a billboard!
Erin Wisniewski says
Yeah – thanks for the warning – loved this photos!
I’m glad I’m not the only one who cried over the rocking chair!
Definitely teared up reading about the rocking chair. Just beautiful! And a beautiful job capturing their day! Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!
