Lauren + Christian : Wedding

June 25, 2010 by Jensey 8 Comments

Lauren and Christian were married at Rosen Shingle Creek here in Orlando. :) We hadn’t been here in ages- Since Kelly and Mike’s wedding way back in the day! ;)

I loved Lauren’s “something blue!”

The candles wouldn’t light, so everyone improvised. :)

Can you believe all the bridesmaids are wearing the same dress?!  Love it!

We only had less than 5 minutes to photograph the newlyweds, but I think we rocked it! :)

My favorite. :)

I loved all the hard work Lauren put into her details- Lauren and Christian live in Washington D.C., and the wedding had subtle nods to the city- The tables were named after past presidents and their amazing centerpieces looked like cherry blossom trees! Weren’t they gorgeous?!

I love Rosen Single Creek’s ballroom- Guests enjoy the cocktail hour on the balcony before heading downstairs for the reception. :)

Their first dance was to Michael Buble’s Lost.

The DJ led the way for the Electric Slide:

Love the one of Christian’s dad breaking it down!

I can’t believe I’m posting this- Here I’m channeling my inner Elaine and doing my best thumb dance for Nate! :)

Congrats, Lauren and Christian!! :)

    Lovely, as usual!
My favorite is of the bride holding her bouquet. And I think it’s my favorite because the same picture I took at a wedding I shot the other day didn’t turn out like this, to say the least.

Yay for forgetting to change the white balance.

Thanks, Chandler! If it helps, we do most of our white balance correcting in Adobe Bridge after the fact. :) If you learn how to shoot RAW, it’s a life saver sometimes!

I thought about shooting in RAW. I just need to invest in a couple more 16gb cards! Haha.
I’m actually investing in one of these. I tried one out the other day, and it was AMAZING. It’s going to save so much time as far as editing goes and it’s probably a whole lot more accurate than what I perceive to be the correct white balance anyways. Ha.

from one Erin to another… the brand is called two birds bridesmaids. I’m actually having them at my wedding for my girls, they are wonderful!

Thanks for that, Erin! Those dresses were gorgeous, though I don’t know that I’d recommend them for especially “dance-y” girls at the reception- Two of the girls were having trouble with their dresses towards the end of the night. :/
