Brooke and Chris were one of our very first weddings. It’s hard to believe it’s been 5+ years and now they’re parents of twins<\/em>! When Brooke first wrote us asking about scheduling a session with her two year olds, I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was a bit, well… Scared to death! But when Nate reminded me how amazing Brooke and Chris are and assured me we’d be just fine, I started to come around to the idea. And then got really, really excited. :)<\/p>\n

It’s always been my dream to have twins. In fact, on one of Nate and my first dates, I announced that if I ever had twins, I’d keep one and give away the other and have them find each other when they’re 12, Parent Trap style. Don’t worry; I was only a little<\/em> serious. ;) The closer to maybe-parenthood I get, the scarier twins seem. I still think it’s a dream of mine, but after spending just a smidgen of time with Brooke and her sweet family, I can tell you she truly is Wonder Mom!<\/p>\n

Chris adores these kids and can do some mad gymnastics with Eli. I think they need to open a father\/son show! :)<\/p>\n

Brooke amazed me many times this shoot, but the biggest thing was her ability to hold both kids at once while reading a book and<\/em> turning the pages. It’s a wonder when I walk and chew gum at the same time!<\/p>\n

… Got a little heated! I said this on their preview post, but this is sincerely my favorite photo I’ve ever taken! Brooke said it sums up her life right now perfectly. :)<\/p>\n
