As luck would have it, Nate accidentally brought the camera whose shutter died last week (dreaded Err #30!), so we have<em> no<\/em> photo evidence of our magical evening. I secretly loved the freedom from documentation; it kind of made the holiday a little more special.<\/p>\n<p>Our buddies Lorie and Jon arranged for all of us to watch Nashville&#8217;s fireworks from the rooftop of Jon&#8217;s work building- It was amazing! My Mom never let us shoot off fireworks as a kid, so launching our very own is completely new, fascinating, and terrifying to me! I spent most of the evening hiding completely behind Nathan and peeking over his shoulder to watch 90% of the time.
