When we count our blessings, our Lifers are #1. Ok… Ollie is #1. Then his biological mother. Then… well, I guess our families and friends and maybe our home and yadda yadda yadda. But THEN… Our Lifers! 👊🏻<\/p>\n

The couples who we photographed exchanging vows, and maybe started a family- some with kids, some with dogs. Some Lifers found us after they got married but have claimed us as their own and I honestly forget we didn’t photograph their weddings. Some of our Lifers aren’t together anymore and have moved on to their forever person and still ask us to be a part of that. Y’all. ❤️<\/p>\n

We are ONLY here because of you. Because you won’t shut up about us to your friends and family so *they* have no choice but to hire us, too. I cannot express the joy we feel getting that email saying you’re coming back to town and want to book your next session. Or the time a past bride called us saying she hadn’t told her parents yet, but she just found out she’s pregnant, and she wants to book baby’s first Disney trip but wants to check our availability first. 💁🏻<\/p>\n

This Thanksgiving we want to thank YOU. For believing in us. For keeping us around. For loving us as much as we love you. I don’t know how we manage to attract the kindest, most forgiving, loyal clients but gah, thank you, thank you, thank you. I can’t tell you how many times vendor friends will work a wedding with us and as we’re gushing about the couple after, they say something like, “oh yeah. They were a total Root couple, you could tell right away.” 🥰<\/p>\n

Thank you for keeping us. Wishing you comfort, joy, and the best-looking holiday photos on your cards this year! ;)<\/p>\n
