We are Nate and Jensey Root, a husband and wife photography duo. We’ve photographed hundreds of weddings since we started and would be honored to photograph yours! We prefer Christmas Eve to Christmas Day, and the Puppy Bowl to the Super Bowl. We still celebrate our “Meetaversary” on February 8th<\/span><\/span> and are in our happy place with our son, Ollie, and goldendoodle, Fozzie. I’d like to say Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are the celebrity couple most like us, but in reality, we’re probably Gonzo and Camilla from The Muppets. :)<\/div>\n

Nate handles all client communication, taxes and other scary self-employment things, and is our reluctant IT admin. He loves gaming, Arrested Development, building computers, and anything having to do with space exploration. He didn’t cry on our wedding day, but he may have got a little something in his eye when SpaceX landed their first rocket! He’s most likely to be found listening to Daft Punk, Sam Cooke, or the soundtracks to Moon<\/em> or The Social Network<\/em>. Nate takes the middle seat on every flight and holds Jensey’s hand during every landing. All he needs for a perfect day is a good walk with Fozzie, answering one of Ollie’s million daily questions, hangout time with “Jenseylove,” and a can of Dr. Pepper.<\/div>\n

Jensey is your behind the scenes girl, handling most of our editing, blogging, and album design. She once entered a national contest to win a trip to Walt Disney World and scored second place, a lifetime supply of Lever 2000! Jensey took her first steps in Disneyland and has been a Disney nerd ever since. She’s most likely to be found listening to Christmas music (yes, year round!), or Disney park background music. Her favorite movies are Singin’ in the Rain<\/em>, The Santa Clause<\/em>, and Lars and the Real Girl<\/em>. Her idea of a perfect day would involve taking Fozzie to the Magic Kingdom, but since that’s not possible, she’ll gladly settle for a park date with Nate and Ollie. :)<\/div>\n
